This deck is complete with 56 illustrate cards showing survival tips and advice. These cards are plastic coated and water resistant, so you can carry them in your backpack while out in the wilderness. I bought these at the Eastern Sierra Visitor’s Center, which is located at the portal to Mt. Whitney (the highest peak in the continental United States) and Death Valley (North America’s lowest point). Published by The Mountaineers.

Topics are organized by card suit. ⋄Diamonds: Survival essentials, signals, locating your position, and shelters; ♠Spades: Assessing the situation, water, fire, food, and evacuation techniques; ♥Hearts: Basic first aid, hypothermia, frostbite, heat illness, and sprains and dislocations; ♣Clubs: CPR, head and spine injuries, fractures, bites and stings, and evacuating the injured.

These Friday the 13th playing cards are an official New Line Cinema release. Printed in 2006, the back design is the same as seen on the front of the pack, and the inside cards feature 52 full color images from the franchise. There is another Friday the 13th deck of playing cards that is easier to find. This particular deck isn’t sold in too many places anymore.

This Edgar Allen Poe deck features artwork by Dave Edgerly and is derived from such Poe classics as “The Masque of the Red Death”, “Murders on the Rue Morgue”, “The Tell-Tale Heart”, and “The Black Cat” as well as some of his more obscure works that true Poe fans will immediately recognize such as “Hop-Frog”, “The Gold Bug”, “The Oval Portrait”, and “Berenice”. The aces, face cards, and jokers are based on different characters. The deck will be printed by USPCC and feature the Bicycle Brand and were first printed in the summer of 2014.

These limited edition cards had a onetime run of only 1100 decks and will not be printed again. Artist, Johnny Whamm, copied Vincent Van Gogh’s style to hand paint all of the face cards, based on Vincent’s own works. The joker cards are the two versions of his famous sunflower paintings. The back art is Starry Night. This deck is Bicycle branded, printed by USPCC, and is numbered 809 of 1100, sealed in its original packaging. These cards were printed March, 2016.

Bicycle Call of Cthulhu: The Writhing Dark

The Call of Cthulhu: The Writhing Dark Playing Cards features the artwork of Shane Tyree.  The cards are officially licensed by Chaosium Games, publisher of the Call of Cthulhu role-playing game, and are based on the stories of H. P. Lovecraft.

These cards were released in two editions, standard and limited. This deck is one of the limited edition decks, signed by the artist with a holofoil numbered seal.  Only 1,000 of these were produced, printed December, 2015. Additionally, the tuck box for the Limited Edition deck features raised faces, tentacles, and lettering.  The cards feature custom artwork and pips.
